Editorial Reviews
Many of the greatest works of art throughout history were fashioned from grief, anger and overwhelming despair descending on it's creators in the aftermath of tragedy and Suicide Silence's appropriately titled YOU CAN'T STOP ME is no exception. Plenty of bands trumpet the idea of strength through adversity, but few have lived it like this one. Like the once unthinkable creative and commercial reemergence of Alice in Chains or the classic, legendary and timeless touchstone that is AC/DC's BACK IN BLACK, Suicide Silence's fourth album features a new front man on the heels of an earthshaking tragedy. YOU CAN'T STOP ME serves as a simultaneous introduction to vocalist Hernan 'Eddie' Hermida, as well as a celebration of the brotherhood the band shared with Hermida's fallen predecessor. The group chose the album's title from a collection of lyrics left behind by the late Mitch Lucker, while their formidable revamped sound makes it clear that Suicide Silence's resurrection is complete.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2014I absolutely LOVE this album! I was definitely skeptical on hearing Eddie front as the new lead for Suicide Silence, but he delivered top notch. I believe Mitch would be proud of the direction SS is going. Eddie delivers amazing heavy vocals, and the music from the rest of the band does everything but disappoint! If you are a fan of the old Suicide Silence, or a new fan who just loves the sort of music these guys and similar artist bring to us, then you will love the new album, "You Can't Stop Me." I've listened to this album many times over and it doesn't get old.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2017In case you thought Suicide Silence was finished after the death of Mitch, this album will prove you wrong. Fantastic album, as good as the previous albums from Suicide's discography. I did notice that that guitar work and drumming took on a greater emphasis in this album and almost has some late 90s/early 00s style to it. Now if only they kept some of this sound for the next album.......

- Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2014Just so people know I am not a past fan of suicide silence so this review is in no way influenced by this band previous works or members.
I want to start with that this album as far as sound quality with the instruments and vocals were great and in no way reflect negatively upon this album. My deciding factor in purchasing this album was from the band's single release and music video You Can't Stop Me. After hearing the new vocalists (former all shall perish vocalist) amazing vocals and style I thought this album would be worth a shot even tho the song itself was very monotonous which I chalked up to just this band doing what most bands do now a days with singles just putting out an easy listening catchy song for people to get into.
Unfortunately it wasn't till after I had heard the entire album several times I had discovered not only is the album fairly short for having fourteen tracks the entire album is a lot like their single and not very unique or distinct. Most of the songs featured are somewhat short and have repetitive lyrics that feel more like filler with just a simple message or statement for example I'm better then you, I'm going to punish you or you can't stop me.
Over all this isn't a terrible album or that you shouldn't pick up this album wether your a die-hard fan or someone just looking for something new but as far as this album goes in my personal opinion and experience with this album thus far it feels repetitive and not all to interesting and I would suggest checking this album out on YouTube before you buy.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2014It comes down to personal preference of course but I have to say the production value is there.
There's nothing huge that makes this stand out immensely but I suspect they were playing it safe for now with the new singer. I expect the next album to push their limits more.
A solid offering, there's nothing to dislike. But there's nothing that will blow your mind either.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2014im really impressed with this album, even though its a new singer the suicide silence feel did not go away, of course the vocals does have a all shall perish vibe to it, why wouldnt it?, but its still suicide silence and sounds like suicide silence, im very pleased they came back an will be looking forward to a follow up album to this one
- Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2014At first I didn't know what to expect from the new screamer but, him being from All Shall Perish gave me hope for the band. They did great some songs are even catchy. I didn't think the new screamer could match his style with the instrumental but they came through great and I can't wait for the next CD.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2015I bought this as a birthday gift for my fiancé and I'm so glad I did. He loves this cd, listens to it almost every day and when you purchase the cd you get the free mp3 download which includes a few bonus tracks. If you like heavy metal I recommend this cd for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Crushing!
Bought this on a whim, and not disappointed. I love this kind of sound; so powerfully heavy, it kills herds of cattle in a 3 mile radius. If you’re like me, you just like the sound and don’t worry about what genre it is or whatever, give this a whirl.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still Suicide Silence
I love the new album. While Eddie Hermida is not Mitch Lucker, this is definitely still Suicide Silence. I had never heard, or even heard of Eddie before, but his vocal style is spot on for this Deathcore. I was extremely satisfied with the bonus content on this deluxe edition as well. About an hour's worth of behind-the-scenes/making-of of the record in the rehearsal space and studio, showing the writing and recording process. There is also a roughly 1 hour tour documentary, giving us a glimpse into world touring with a metal band, plus a short photo gallery. Totally worth the extra couple bucks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolute Spitzenklasse
R.I.P. Nobody can stop them :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Suicide Silence
Suicide Silence、万歳!!
